“Love Letters to the AT (Appalachian Trail)”
In honor of Hot Springs’ TRAILFEST, Gallery339 Hot Springs will host a PHOTO and ART exhibition for AT Hikers and all who appreciate the area’s natural beauty and history. On exhibit are scenes on the AT and historic nature sites in the area.
Featured artists, Scott (Doc) Varn, Sarah Jones Decker, author of “The Ridges of Madison County, NC” and Mike Wurman, all live in the region and are experienced AT Hikers. Their paintings, writings and photo works are inspired by their days and nights on the AT and deep appreciation of the area’s beauty.
The exhibition is presented by Preserving A Picturesque America, a non-profit group dedicated to “Preserving natural and historic places through the power of the arts.” Exhibit will be on display through April 29, 2023.
