Freedom Festival & Fireworks in Laurel Community
Come celebrate the 4th of July and the 250th Birthday of the United States of America at the Laurel Community Center’s 6th Annual Freedom Festival! This year’s festival will be on Saturday, July 4th 2026.
Gates will open at 5:30 PM with the first band, The Rice Sisters & Appalachian Skyline kicking things off at 6 PM! You’ll love this local group and their stunning vocals! Starting just before 8 PM we are excited to welcome back, Hearts Gone South! This group plays classic style country and honky tonk with an edge that your not going to want to miss! To top off the night we’ll light up the Summer sky with a beautiful firework display!
Additionally we will have food including hot dogs and hamburger, multiple raffles baskets, snow cones, face painting, corn hole and a sprinkler and water balloons for the kids. So, bring your blankets and lawn chairs because this is an evening your not going to want to miss!
*This year’s Freedom Festival will not include a 5K Road Race. Be on the look out for a Road Race this Fall!
