Stone Cottage is just 10 feet from a glorious mountain stream with beautiful views and the sound of splashing water. The cottage is a spacious 1000 square foot post and beam construction with a large loft bedroom that has a king size bed. The main floor is one large open room that combines a kitchen, dining and living area, all of which open to a large wrap around deck. The deck has a wonderful hot tub overlooking a rapid of Spring Creek, which is stocked with mountain trout. Just a few steps up the creek there is an 8 foot deep swimming hole. All this just 2 minutes from the Appalachian Trail and a 5-minute stroll to downtown Hot Springs, NC.
