Formerly Laurel Elementary School, this 6-acre campus in White Rock is now home of the Laurel Community Center (LCC), a 501(c)3 nonprofit. The center houses the Shelton Laurel Meal Site for area seniors, a free Internet room open daily 7 AM - 7 PM, the Laurel Welcome Center, the Laurel River Room a STEM class for ecology studies, and rents studios to artists and entrepreneurs. Short-term rentals for birthday parties and other events are also available. Visit our campus daylight til dusk for our pavilion, playground, walking path, two public creek access points as well as an array of educational signs. Visit the Laurel Community Market for our 3rd Season on the last Saturday of each month, April - November. LCC also hosts a variety of events including the annual 4th of July Freedom Festival, dances, dinners, and more! Check our website for upcoming events and details.
