We have been hard at work creating a new map and brochure for visitors to see all of the thriving businesses in our downtown. Take a stroll along the Appalachian Trail and stop for a snack at one of our local restaurants. Pick up some supplies at one of our local retail stores, and end the evening with one of our several lodging options to truly experience everything these beautiful mountains have to offer.

Parking is limited in our small town, so different parking lots are designated for different uses.
Downtown parking is designated for downtown business use.

For visitors requiring river access, there is parking located at the NOC parking lot (Lot A). This lot is for river recreation use only.
Hikers have a couple of options for parking, including overnight parking for section hikes. One is the Silvermine Trail Parking Area (Lot B). This lot is convenient for AT access north and the Lover’s Leap Loop Trail.
Another option for day and section hiker parking is located on Serpentine Ave. South (Lot C). This lot is convenient for AT access south.
