Creative Awakening Workshop at Rare Bird Farm

Inviting all musicians, dancers, poets, painters, sculptures, and anyone interested in tapping deeper into an established or yet-to-be discovered creative vision.

Join us for a 3-hour workshop designed to explore our individual and collective experiences with creativity of all forms. An opportunity to be in community and explore our relationships to creativity through discussion, guided embodiment practices, written reflections, deep listening, and an improvisational creative flow with a variety of artists. No experience with art is necessary.

How do we tend to the ecosystems of our creative visions? How can we find value in creative exploration in a world that prioritizes recognition and monetary gain? Can we release the need for results and allow ourselves to simply play? What arises when we are able to tap into the deep sensing of a creative flow? What unfolds with collective, creative collaboration and improvisation?

Come prepared with any creative/art materials that you would like to improvise with, and a journal and writing utensil. All bodies and abilities are welcome!
