DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\n\n\nWillow Tray Workshop\nMarch 29th, Saturday, 1-4 PM\n$40 for the class + $25 materials fee\nThis is a great introductory class for anyone who has ever wanted to work with willow! Total beginners as well as seasoned crafters and basket makers unfamiliar with building basket bases using Catalan trays (aka tension trays) are all welcome. These trays make wonderful trivets, soap dishes, or wall and table decorations, but possibly more importantly, they serve as a foundational understanding point for how to make basket bottoms or “bases.” For those excited to create larger willow projects in the future such as foraging/pack baskets, purse baskets, and shopper baskets, this will be a good workshop to take.
