Smokey Mountain Diner

DESCRIPTION: The word is out about Smokey Mountain Diner. And not just about the mouthwatering cobblers; the diner also has a reputation for hiker hospitality. The cobblers are made with fresh fruit, blackberries, blueberries, strawberries, and peaches, whenever they`re in season and, out of season, they`re filled with frozen fruit the diner has put up. `People drive from everywhere to eat our cobblers,` says owner Genia Hayes-Peterson.

Sweet Imaginations

DESCRIPTION: It's a little shop in a little town that makes up for its small size by delivering a great made-to-order sandwich, shake or smoothie. The ice cream freezer is right up front to tempt you and the kids. The owner is friendly and likes to keep his customers happy.
